Planning Underway for Trails that Connect Us ’24
Planning is underway for the Trails that Connect Us ’24 event. The event will be an open house at the Free State’s Eastside Bottling Facility, 1927 Moodie Road on Thursday, April 25th, 5:00-8pm. The rain date, if needed, will be Friday, April 26th at the same time.
There will be food trucks, music and beer. Enjoy kid-friendly activities, go on a brewery tour, and get area trail information.
Currently there are more than 25 organizations planning on having tables with information, including FLAT, Pawsh Wash, Friends of the Kaw, Lawrence Mountain Bike Club, Lawrence Trail Hawks, Lawrence Bike Club, LiveWell Douglas County, Buskerfest, Love Grub, Explore Lawrence, Sunflower Outdoor & Bike Shop, and many more.
There is easy access from the Burroughs Trail, so cycling or walking is encouraged! As in years past there will be valet bicycle parking. Get a free beer voucher if you bike to the event.
Dogs on leash are welcome outside.
The participating food trucks and the musical entertainment will be announced soon.
It’s a fun event so please plan on attending!
