Expanding Local Trail Systems 4 Speakers talking about different upcoming, current, & planned trail initiatives

Speakers:

  • Mark Hecker, Lawrence Parks and Recreation — Current and upcoming trail-building plans.
  • Glenn Rodden, Baldwin City Administrator — Plans for Southward Expansion of the Maple Leaf Trail (to connect to the Prairie Spirit and Flint Hills Trails).
  • Kent Williams,  Kaw River Commons — Information about a vision of an interconnected trail system in downtown Lawrence, creating new connections to the Kansas River.
  • Chris Tilden, LiveWell Douglas County and FLAT board member — Promoting trail use among people of all abilities on our local trails.
