Van Go’s family friendly, go-at-your-own-pace community walk, ride, roll, and run along the Lawrence Loop is back! After cruising the Loop, join us for a party from 10am-Noon in the Van Go parking lot, complete with DJ Approach, Cellar Door bagels and coffee, a craft cocktail courtesy of Bon Bon Cocktail Club, The Last Carnival’s Ruckus Wagon, a succulent planting station a la Jungle House, photo booth, and more!

Identified as a priority in  Plan 2040 , Douglas County has launched an 18-month planning process to establish the Douglas County Open Space Plan. Through this planning process the county will gather community input that will help shape the Open Space Plan. Lawrence Community Bike Ride Saturday, July 16th from 8:00 – 11:00am

The Belgian Waffle events begin on Friday, October 13th. The BWR KS is the greatest gravel / unroad course in America. The route will take riders on a ronde of the rolling hills north of Lawrence, where it will clatter through agrarian hamlets and the Ardennes-like hills — not over classic mountains per se, but rather a never-ending string of ups and downs — along sinuous unroads, single-track through the woods or along the lakefront, muddy trails and two spectacular cyclocross courses…
